In ascending order of quality, the first released is always the Condrieu Les Terrasses de l’Empire. The crisp 2010 exhibits notes of lychee nuts, white peaches and honeysuckle, good minerality and a fresh, lively, concentrated style with good acidity as well as vibrancy. Vernay’s fame primarily comes from the family’s long time position as one of the leaders and reference points of the Condrieu appellation. They produce three dry cuvees.
