The Lamothe-Guignard has a light pear and honey-scented bouquet that takes time to unwind in the glass and eventually evolves a pleasant brioche-tinged aroma. The palate is medium-bodied with a rounded, viscous entry but somehow, it never really builds on the promise, and I find the finish comparatively flat. Hopefully this will improve during maturation. Drink 2013-2022.
