The 2020 Pinot Noir Amelia from Quebrada Seca, Limarí, was up to 40% fermented with stalks before spending a year in 20% new French oak. Cherry-red in the glass. The nose offers cherries, sweetbriar and hints of rose plus sweet spice aromas from the aging process. Delicate in the mouth, with a terse, slightly compact texture and a finish of precise freshness and tension, the 2020 lingers at length.
