The 2009 So-RA-do is a blend of Garnacha Tintorera, Monastrell, and Petit Verdot. It was naturally fermented in tank where it remained on its lees for 6 months. Purple-colored, it reveals enticing aromas of Asian spices, incense, underbrush, blackberry, and blueberry. Substantial on the palate, it has excellent volume and some well-concealed tannin. It can be approached now but should blossom in bottle for another 2-3 years.
Agricola Aguaza’s current offerings are all good to excellent values.
