Made on an organic farm with grapevines, legumes and other agricultural products, the Agrinatura 2017 Castel del Monte Giancarlo Ceci Parco Grande is a blend of Nero di Troia and Aglianico. Like past vintages, this wine is a little awkward with dark fruit intensity that pulls on your senses with emphasis. The warm sunshine and dry conditions of the vintage (paired with the naturally hot growing conditions of Puglia in the deep south of Italy) have pushed that fruit to the limit. Ripe flavors are contrasted by sour ones.

Made with a blend of Nero di Troia and Aglianico, the 2015 Castel del Monte Giancarlo Ceci Parco Grande is a sour and disjointed red wine with aromas of caper and green olive. There is a sweet note of ripe cherry and blackberry on the short finish.
