Albert Mann's wines are generally superb in quality, with dramatic personalities, plenty of concentration, and impeccable balance. Mann's 1990 and 1989 Pinot Blanc-Auxerrois were both bottled unfiltered. One can sense that there was little removed from either of these rich, honeyed, apple, gorgeously fruity, medium-bodied, elegant wines.
