The 2009 Riesling has pronounced white blossom and lime juice aromas on the nose with a touch of clover honey. Medium bodied and off dry with nearly 11 grams per liter of residual sugar, there’s a good backbone of high acid to balance and a medium-long finish. Drinking now, it should keep through 2014+. The 2008 Riesling could do with more fruit intensity on the nose but hopefully that will come with a few months bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied, finely balanced with fresh apricot, hints of passion fruit and pawpaw, moving towards a strict, linear finish. This is elegant but again, give it one year in bottle.
