The 2010 Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has a floral bouquet with crushed rose petals underneath the light dark berry fruit, although it shows little varietal character. The palate is medium-bodied with sinewy tannins and some hardness towards the foursquare finish. Drink now-2016. Vina Anakena was found by Felipe Ibanez and Jorge Gutierrez who planted their first vines in 1999 in Alto Cachapoal, where they presently own 165 hectares. This is augmented by 148 hectares in Leyda and a further 100 hectares in Colchagua.
