The 2007 She-Devil Syrah (100%) was aged for 20 months in an assortment of oak. Notes of game, pepper, underbrush, and blueberry set the stage for a spicy, succulent, friendly wine that has enough structure and balance to drink well for another 4-5 years. It is an excellent value. Annette Bergevin and Amber Lane continue to turn out excellent wines at very fair prices from their Walla Walla-based winery. The current releases, particularly the Syrah cuvees, appear to be their best wines to date. The Calico wines are always terrific values and the new releases are no exception.Tel.
