The 2015 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and is scented of black raspberries, black cherries and violets with hints of dark chocolate and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with juicy red and black fruit flavors, supported by lively acid and plush tannins, finishing spicy.

Leading off the reds, the 2014 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard has a more fruit-forward profile than most from this site and gives up lots of black cherry, mulberry, flowers and spice in a charming, supple, yet impeccably balanced and delicious style. Its more forward character is ideal for drinking over the coming 4-5 years. Just 185 cases were made.

Showing the more savory, mineral-aspect of the vineyard, the 2013 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard is medium-bodied and juicy on the palate, with bright acidity giving lift to savory notes of currants, sour cherries, licorice and toasted spice. It’s good, but lacks a touch of the charm and integration of the other releases. There’s a kick of oak on the finish, so give bottles another 6-12 months and enjoy through 2021.

One of the more structured efforts in the lineup, the 2012 Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard has hints of sweet oak in its cassis, spice, toast and underbrush aromas and flavors. This all flows to a rich, nicely textured Pinot that has a supple, soft mid-palate, medium-bodied richness and a great finish where more of the wine's structure emerges. It should evolve nicely with another year in bottle and drink well through 2019.
