The 2011 Riesling reveals spiced pears and apple slices over peach blossoms and yuzu zest. It is an off-dry style (medium dry) with a touch of sweetness, yet retains zesty acidity and a clean texture with plenty of stone fruit and green apple flavors. It has a long finish with some mineral notes. Consider drinking it now to 2017+. Bishop’s Head does not currently have a USA importer.

2008 Riesling has moderate to pronounced aromas of ripe apples and grapefruit over nuances of mandarin peel and powdered ginger. The light to medium bodied, medium-dry palate (21 grams per liter of residual sugar) gives a good concentration of spiced citrus fruit flavors with crisp acid and a long finish. Delicious now, it should cellar to 2015+. No known USA importer.
