The 2006 Beryna Seleccion is made up of 50% Monastrell, 40% Tempranillo, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 20 months in new French oak. Smoke, brooding black fruits, underbrush, and Asian spices lead to a dense, savory, rich wine with excellent volume and balance. It will benefit from another 2-3 years of cellaring and should be at its best through 2021. Bernabe Navarro owns 88 acres of vine, predominantly old-vine Monastrell.Importer: Hidalgo Imports, Miami, FL; Tel. (305) 477-7717
