The 2004 Reserva was sourced from a single vineyard planted to Carinena, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah aged primarily in French oak for 18 months. Medium ruby-colored, it has a slightly aged appearance. It proffers aromas of earth, mineral, pencil lead, cassis, cherry, plum, and blueberry. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied, concentrated wine with succulent fruit, some structure, good balance, and a pure finish. Although it is likely to evolve for 1-2 years, it can be approached now and should keep for a decade.
