The 2007 Tabula went through alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in barrel followed by 16 months in barrique and 4 months in large casks. The grapes were sourced from older vines in a particular parcel. It is a more structured effort, tighter, and dense on the palate. Asian spices, incense, lavender, espresso, mineral, and blackberry aromas and flavors lead to a well-proportioned wine with excellent volume and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. Give it 3-4 years of additional cellaring and drink it from 2015 to 2027. Bodegas y Vinedos Tabula’s newest releases are first-class, all made from 100% Tempranillo.Importer: Casa Ventura Imports, Bellingham, WA; Tel. (360) 303-1760
