The 2016 Pinot Noir Stewart opens with pencil shavings, underbrush and dried herbs over red and black berries plus notions of smoked meats and earth. The medium to full-bodied palate is earthy and stemmy, with a fuzzy texture and just enough freshness. 1,000 cases produced.

Pale to medium garnet in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Stewart has a nose of spiced red cherry and cranberry sauce with hints of white pepper, cola and Christmas spice plus a touch of earth. Light to medium-bodied, the fruit is just a touch dried on the palate, although it offers lots of spice and chewy tannins carrying the finish. 1,400 cases produced.

Pale to medium ruby-colored with a hint of purple, the 2014 Pinot Noir Stewart gives cranberry and sour cherry notes on the nose with underlying underbrush, garrigue, dried herbs and damp soil hints. Medium-bodied with a taut, muscular palate of expressive red fruit and earth flavors, it has a solid backbone of firm, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with great length and depth.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Stewart has a pale ruby color and nose of kirsch, baked raspberries and underbrush with wafts of Mediterranean herbs and damp soil. Medium-bodied with a good intensity of mature, perfumed red berry flavors, it has soft tannins and a racy acid line, finishing long.
