Spicy underbrush and resiny notes intermixed with red and black currants as well as a hint of kirsch are found in the slightly herbaceous, medium to full-bodied, round, generous, seductively lush 2007 Pinot Noir Julia’s Vineyard. It, too, can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years. A strong line-up of Pinot Noirs from Bonaccorsi, these cuvees reveal distinctive personalities, but all offer impressively high quality. The alcohol content of the single vineyard wines ranges from 14.7% to 15.3%, and the pH’s go from 3.72 to 3.89. All of them spend about 15 months in French oak (40% new).Tel. (310) 994-3207
