A release of about 6,500 bottles, the 2019 Collio Friulano is another very pretty wine from Branko. This expression of Friuli's most important white grape opens to a crisp, mid-weight texture with generous tones of peach, Golden Delicious apple and fragrant honeydew melon. The wine is linear and tight with attractive purity and fresh primary intensity, best enjoyed with a platter of sliced ham, especially the region's famous Prosciutto di San Daniele.

Branko's 2017 Collio Friulano offers beautiful intensity with bright primary fruit. This is an easy-drinking white wine (offered at a great value price) that has just enough texture and complexity to pair with sophisticated dishes such as sea bream with capers and stewed cherry tomatoes. The hot 2017 vintage has produced wines with extra aromatic intensity. Some 5,500 bottles were made.
