The vineyard is part of the Fess Parker estate, and the wine tastes dry and fruity, with a core of cherries, plums, blackberries, sweet leather and bitter chocolate flavors that finish a little thin. This is a bit riper and sweeter than the Edna Ranch bottling, and certainly less tannic. Blackberry, cherry liqueur and black raspberry flavors are accessible and sweet.
