Huguet de Can Feixes’ 2006 Brut Nature Gran Reserva is a blend of Parellada, Macabeo, and Pinot Noir which spent 30 months on its lees and was hand-riddled. Light straw colored, it delivers an inviting bouquet of biscuit, mineral, apple, and floral notes. On the palate it displays a smooth texture, excellent fruit, and good depth. This outstanding sparkling wine was hand-riddled and has zero dosage. The 2005 Gran Reserva is medium straw-colored with persistent small bubbles. It has a lovely nose of mineral, green apple, and pear followed by a crisp, intense, dry wine with excellent length.
