It displays tropical fruit, vanilla, and lavender in its nose and flavors, and much volume and sweetness on the palate. It can be drunk with pleasure over the next several years. No evidence of wood can be found in the 2000 Cesco dell Eremo Falanghina. It displays copious quantities of ripe, honeysuckle-like fruit with vague notions of minerals, tangerines, and lemons. Light to medium-bodied, with excellent purity, it is best consumed over the next year.
