The 2004 Onomastica Reserva shows much more depth and concentration than both the regular Reserva and Gran Reserva, dark cherry-colored with aromas of peat, smoke, roasted coffee, blackberries and red currants. It is however very approachable, with fine tannins, good acidity and length, but lacking a bit of complexity. Drink 2014-2018.
This historical name from Haro has been owned by the Vivanco family since 2002 and they are making great efforts to revive the name and improve the quality of the wines. They are on the right path.
