The 2006 Beviam Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (100%) was aged in stainless steel barrels with oak interstaves for 6 months and kept in bottle for 24 months prior to release. Dark ruby red in color, it reveals a nose of cedar, tar, pencil lead, a hint of balsamic, and black currant. Medium-bodied with some elegance, this smooth-textured offering has ample ripe fruit and enough structure to provide pleasure over the next 6-8 years.
