The fresh lychee nut-scented 1998 Gewurztraminer Herrenweg Cuvee Reserve is a rose-infused, highly defined, spicy, and floral wine. It is an exquisitely graceful Gewurztraminer without any of the exuberance or ostentatiousness that some readers (I am certainly not one of them) dislike in this varietal.
