The 2011 Liot is slightly deeper in colour than its peers. The nose is reticent at first, but it opens nicely over four to five minutes to reveal dried honey and almond notes. The palate demonstrates more potential than the aromatics. It is well-balanced with a pleasing spicy entry, displaying commendable weight and levels of botrytis, and while the finish is comparatively simple and short, it represents a satisfactory Barsac 2011. Drink 2014-2025.
