This small winery in Fronsac is now one of the most dependable in its area. It sits at the top of a slope ("pey" in the regional patois, hence the name Pey-Labrie) on clay-limestone soils typical of this region, known as Molasse du Fronsadais. Careful attention to viticulture and winemaking produce very sincere wines, as robust and straightforward as any Fronsac but also showing exquisitely graceful definition.
