Made from tiny yields of 18 hectoliters per hectare, this 80% Syrah / 20% Grenache blend has been aged in 100% new oak casks. The wine exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, followed by a big, spicy, peppery, smoky, garrigue-scented nose, medium to full body, lavish quantities of toasty new oak, and equally decadent levels of jammy blackberry and cassis fruit. It is a well-crafted, pure, multi-layered, expansive, thick wine for consuming over the next 2-4 years.Importer: Eric Solomon, European Cellars, New York, NY; tel. (212) 924-4949
