The Colli di Lapio 2021 Greco di Tufo Romano Clelia Alèxandros offers a soft bouquet with sweet citrus and lots of luscious peach and pear. This is a classic Greco with subtle mineral notes and ash to frame that pretty fruit. This mid-weight wine offers the texture and length to pair with an epic spaghetti alle vongole and has ample freshness to boot. Production is 8,000 bottles.

The Colli di Lapio 2019 Greco di Tufo Romano Clelia Alèxandros is fragrant and fresh, showing plenty of those apple and minty pear aromas that are associated with the Greco grape. The wine is contoured and sharp with pretty mineral notes and zesty acidity at the back. Fruit comes from 30-year-old vines planted in calcareous clay soils at a breezy and cool 550 to 600 meters in altitude. Those high elevations really make a huge difference when it comes to quality Greco di Tufo.

The Colli di Lapio 2018 Greco di Tufo Romano Clelia Alèxandros shows instant freshness and purity with yellow or white fruit aromas of honeysuckle, fragrant peach and passion fruit. The age of the vines (now 25 years old), the altitude of the vineyards (some 550 meters above sea level) and limestone clay soils all contribute to the radiance and tonic accessibility of this Greco. There is a pretty mineral or salty signature on the finish. Only 4,000 bottles were made.

Boasting great freshness and balanced intensity, the 2017 Greco di Tufo Romano Clelia Alèxandros delivers aromas of yellow fruit, blanched almond and natural rubber. The wine is not excessively long or persistent, but it lasts long enough to keep the palate happily refreshed and revived. Only 4,000 bottles were made.
