The 2008 Shiraz was aged for 12 months in seasoned French and American oak. It is purple-colored with a nose of Asian spices, pepper, bacon, and blueberry. On the palate notes of damp earth, mocha, and allspice make an appearance. There is enough structure for this superb value to drink well for another 4 years.
