Tasted in London, this has a hint of elderflower and rose petal on the nose that is well defined though could do with a little more lift. The palate has good balance, slightly viscous in texture with notes of walnut, jasmine, rosewater and quince. A complex, engaging, somehow "serious" Pinot Gris that draws you in. Quietly impressive. Drink 2008-2011. Tasted January 2008.
