Made from organic fruit, the good value Cordero di Montezemolo 2019 Dolcetto d'Alba is tart and bright with every kind of cherry aroma you can imagine, from wild white cherry to a darker grade of cherry liqueur. There are some floral aromas of lilac and pressed violet thrown in for good measure. The wine is lean-bodied and fresh, and it's absolutely perfect for a wood-fired pizza with artichokes, mushrooms, ham and mozzarella. Some 36,000 bottles were made.
