The 2006 Pievecroce Lugana is a terrific example of the whites from Lake Garda. Made from Trebbiano di Lugana it offers attractive, perfumed fruit balanced by lively acidity with excellent length as well as balance. A touch of oak gives the wine additional roundness. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2009.
