I have not had much luck with Crociani wines in the past, but the 2000 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva is altogether different than what the house usually offers, dark in color with forceful and penetrating aromas of fruit and spice, vigorous and continuous flavors, and good concentration and balance.
