The 2007 Syrah Crossroads Vineyard displays a dark ruby/purple color similar to the other Syrahs, but seems more tightly knit, with medium to full body and ripe, heady fruit. It doesn’t represent the same value as several of the other offerings from Curtis. This is another winery well-known for its values. I liked last year’s 2006s slightly more than their 2007s, but these still represent fair value to the consumer.Tel. (805) 686-8999
