The 2019 Sicilia Noà is 40% Nero d'Avola, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Vigneto Sotto Le Case Tenuta Presti e Pegni. The wine is loaded and rich with dark fruit, spice, tobacco and baking chocolate. There is a hint of tannic bitterness over a full-bodied mouthfeel, and the alcohol content is powerful at 15%. Some 20,000 bottles were released.

From the Tenuta Presti e Pegni, the 2016 Sicilia Noà is a blend of Sicilian and Bordeaux grapes. The exact composition is 40% Nero d'Avola, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Each grape is aged in oak for 12 months; however, the Sicilian grape goes into botte grande and the two French grapes go into barrique. This wine pours from the bottle with an inky black appearance and an intense concentration of aromas and flavors. The Cusumano brothers have hit the bull's-eye with this beautiful wine in terms of its power, complexity and smooth integration. The bouquet starts off with Morello cherry, dried blackberry, spice and bitter chocolate. As the wine opens in the glass, it unleashes granite, smoke and licorice. As far as Cusumano's Noà goes, this is the nicest vintage I have tasted thus far. Some 20,000 bottles were made.

An elegant, medium- to full-bodied red, offering expressive notes of graphite, fragrant smoke and eucalyptus, layered with crème de cassis and fig cake flavors. Well-knit and creamy, with fine-grained tannins firming the finish. Nero d'Avola, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2015 Sicilia Noà opens to deep, dark and black intensity. This is a warm-climate blend of 40% Nero d'Avola, 30% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and you feel the warm summer sunshine deep within that fruit (the alcohol is recorded at 15%). Blackberry preserves and Morello cherry are framed by subtle spice, scorched earth and moist chewing tobacco. This is a full-bodied red wine with soft tannins and a succulent, fleshy mouthfeel. Some 22,800 bottles were made.

An open-knit red, with fine-grained tannins and a fleshy texture carrying flavors of ripe plum and black currant, grilled herb, mineral and spice, this is balanced and medium- to full-bodied, with a subtle finish.
