This, on first taste, seemed a bit over the top, but, in a big, Zin-nish style, not too bad, but a bit clumsy. A mere eight months in the cellar has not been kind to it. It has evolved with startling speed, some of the oak integrating (the good news) and the fruit being tamed (perhaps more good news, but not entirely). It also seemed rather harsh and acidic, too, as if the original flamboyance covered up the lack of serious fruit. There’s just no “there” there. Austere and with little redeeming value left, this is aging fast. Drink now. This is Kosher. Importer: Allied Importers, Long Island City, N.Y.; tel. (718) 472-1155
