The 2015 Donna Giovanna is late harvest Greco Bianco executed in an off-dry style. In fact, the residual sugar is very apparent and adds to the overall intensity and softness of this wine. The wine is beautifully redolent of bergamot, candied tangerine, marzipan and fresh acacia honey. It's difficult to image how you could pair a wine like this. Perhaps late afternoon snacks or cocktail foods would make the best match. Spicy Indian foods that can contrast the sweetness of the wine also come to mind. No doubt, this is a beautifully made wine from Southern Italy.

Made with late harvest Greco Bianco grapes, the 2014 Donna Giovanna delivers delightful surprises. This full bodied white wine was fermented in oak and aged in barrique for six months. Some of the fruit is left to dry on the vines until mid-October before it is harvested. Those oak notes work seamlessly next to the generous quality of creamy and fragrant fruit. Apricot, dried orange peel, blanched almond, vanilla and pineapple lift from the glass with copious intensity. There is an impressive level of fullness and richness here that distinguishes this wine.
