With hints of dark gold and copper, the 2017 Malvazija is the most subdued and subtle of these three white wines presented by Skerk. The Malvasia grape always shows enhanced floral aromas, and those peek through with yellow rose and honeysuckle, although the overall bouquet could be characterized as much bolder and more dramatic than those adjectives might suggest. The weight of the bouquet is given by beeswax, walnut husk and candied orange. This wine is also the most versatile when it comes to food pairing. It could work with oven-cooked pasta or white meats such as pork or poultry. Some 7,000 bottles were released.
