The 2022 Camino de Navaherreros is pale, light and primary. It was produced with Garnacha and 10% Tempranillo that they picked very early in a very warm summer to keep the alcohol to a moderate 13.5%. It's nicely textured, and even if it's not terribly complex, it's approachable, clean and gives a lot of pleasure. 45,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2023.

The 2021 Camino de Navaherreros feels more serious and complete, going beyond the fruit and showing some stony minerality that is more of a texture and tactile sensation rather than a flavor. This matured in 5,000- and 10,000-liter oak foudres, but there's no trace of oak. 35,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2022.

The young red 2018 Camino de Navaherreros comes from an extremely balanced vintage, when it rained when it was needed, the summer wasn't too warm and the wines turned out like a more complete version of the 2016s. To make a long story short, 2018 seems to be the finest Gredos vintage in the last few years, and that's quite evident in the Bernabeleva range, especially when tasted next to the 2017s. But there is no lack of ripeness here; the grapes ripened properly, and the wine has deep aromas and flavors, fine-grained tannins and some seriousness within its approachable style. A great vintage for Camino de Navaherreros. 50,000 bottles produced. It was bottled between June and November 2019.

The extremely warm and early year has produced a juicy and fruit-driven 2017 Camino de Navaherreros that shows the accelerated growing season with a somewhat compact profile. This always has a small percentage of Tempranillo from one of their vineyards, and I think I noticed the character of the grape this year, even though it's harvested early to avoid the character of the variety being too marked in the wine. 37,000 bottles produced.

The just bottled 2016 Camino de Navaherreros was hitting it on all cylinders, with an open nose of flowers and wild berries. There is more fruit in the foreground, juicy and very approachable, with super fine tannins and good acidity. 40,000 bottles were filled in May 2017.
