One of the first wines produced by the winery, the 2014 Son Roig is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah that matured in oak barrel for 12 months. It has a ripe and sweet nose of black fruit, a little candied, with plenty of spicy aromas. The palate is juicy and has plenty of oak flavors and tannins, an astringent sensation and a dry finish where the oak seems to take a leading role. It feels a little like a wine from a different era. 3,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2016.
