Bodegas Enguera’s 2009 Pella is a blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Monastrell raised in stainless steel. Dark ruby-colored, it gives up an expressive nose of mineral, spice box, violets, blackberry, and blueberry. Smooth-textured, forward, and easy-going, the wine’s finish has no hard edges.
