More precise and elegant than the richer, more exuberant 2009, the 2010 Cornas has lots of black and blue fruits, iron, crushed rock, olive and bay leaf to go with a medium to full-bodied, fresh, focused and nicely structured feel on the palate. I like the density of the 2009 more, but this has beautiful purity of fruit, good acidity and fine tannin. Give it 2-3 years and drink over the following 10-12 years.
