The 2007 Trascasas Reserva has a complex nose of slightly degraded black fruit, scorched earth and leather, Provencal herbs and a touch of cedar. The palate is well-defined with toasty black fruit. It is well-balanced and underpinned by fine tannins, while hints of espresso infused the rounded black fruit laced and tobacco on the long finish.
