The barrique-aged Diesel Farm 2017 Breganze Chardonnay Bianco di Rosso pours forth with a saturated off-gold color. This is an oxidized, almost caramelized white wine with aromas of candied fruit, dried apricot, banana chip and biscuit. This is a special wine that will appeal to those who love an aged, full-bodied white. This is a very unusual wine with thick texture and viscosity. Only 3,000 bottles were made.

Closed with a red wax capsule (with only 3,800 bottles released), the Diesel Farm 2016 Breganze Chardonnay Bianco di Rosso opens to a rich off-gold color and a viscous appearance. This generous, full-bodied oak-aged white is redolent of poached apple, honey and toasted almond. This northern Italian Chardonnay shows ample density and texture with some candied fruit aromas on the finish.

A pure expression of Chardonnay, the 2013 Breganze Bianco di Rosso is extremely tight and focused in personality. The wine looks and tastes much younger than it really is. It shows a bright, luminous appearance with mild golden highlights. The bouquet is crisp, citrusy and laced with pretty mineral impression that add focus and dryness. There are no obvious oak overtones. Instead, this wine presents crisp fruit and lingering minerality.
