A solid effort from the Beaumont-Monteux area, the 2020 Crozes Hermitage Beaumont offers hints of black cherries, black olives and even a pinch of cracked pepper on the nose. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely plump and round in the mouth, with silky tannins and a lengthy finish. Vinified and matured in concrete, there's no oak to get in the way of the expressive Syrah fruit.

The 2017 Crozes Hermitage Beaumont is floral, herbal and loaded with stone fruit aromas. This medium to full-bodied wine is so sound, so soft and so gulpable, it almost seems Grenache-like—yet it's Syrah from the Northern Rh?ne. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years.
