There's a scant 80 cases of the fresh, elegant 2012 Hermitage Arena Mica, which was completely destemmed and aged 12 months in 300-liter French oak prior to bottling. It has pretty black raspberries, currants, olive, cracked black pepper and spring flowers in its medium-bodied, nicely textured, rich and balanced profile. All about supple, pure fruit, it has solid mid-palate density, nicely integrated acidity and moderate, sweet tannin. Drink this beauty anytime over the coming decade.

Pure blackcurrant nose and the same on the palate. Very youthful, focused, pure. Will develop very well. Big, generous finish.
