Both of the 1994 Zinfandel and the 1994 Private Reserve are earthy, loamy, peppery-styled Zinfandels with medium to full body and attractive fruit, as well as aggressive, coarse tannin. The dark ruby-colored 1994 Zinfandel possesses higher acidity than the deeply saturated, purple-colored 1994 Private Reserve.
