Graci’s 2010 Etna Bianco Quota 600 is Carricante and Catarratto blend aged partially in French oak tonneaux. The oak adds a measure of textural richness, but without detracting from the wine’s essential energy and minerality. A gorgeous, deep wine, the 2010 is bursting at the seams with class. In 2010, these white grapes were picked into October. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2016. Alberto Graci’s wines are loaded with character and personality. In particular, the Etna Bianco and Rosso deliver superb quality for the money in a part of Italy where making value-priced wines is rendered virtually impossible by the high farming costs imposed by terrains that are hard to work.
