Packaged in a 375-milliliter bottle, the 2020 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Passito Juvelo has nutty notes that are lavishly layered over with honey and sun-dried apricot. The wine is viscous and rich with lovely fruit weight that wraps opulently over the palate. The acidity and those bright fruit flavors keep the wine from feeling too heavy. Winemaking sees a brief three hours of skin maceration and barrique aging for 11 months. The alcohol content on this wine is a contained 11.5%. Only 2,500 bottles were made.

Packaged in a small 375-milliliter bottle, the 2019 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Passito Juvelo opens to a bright golden color with shiny hues of copper and amber. Aged in barrique for 11 months, the wine's rich and saturated color palette is followed by fragrant tones of candied fruit, acacia honey and heady lotus flower. This lovely wine is among a release of 2,500 bottles.

Showing brilliant golden rays and sunbeams that shine from deep within, the 2018 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Passito Juvelo is an incredibly fragrant and expressive dessert wine made with air-dried fruit from high-altitude vineyards (at 500 meters above sea level) with a mix of calcareous soil, gravel and white shards of dolomitic rock. Packaged in a precious 375-milliliter bottle, the wine opens to fresh summer jasmine, orange blossom, white raisins and candied almond. The mouthfeel is extra rich and creamy, with an opulent honey-like texture. This is a gorgeous wine (made in limited numbers with just 2,500 small bottles produced) that offers precision and sharpness on the one hand and crazy luxuriousness on the other.

The 2017 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Passito Juvelo (produced in a 375-milliliter bottle) is a very special wine that wraps over the palate like silk sheets. The bouquet is enormously fragrant and rich with honey, brown sugar, candied orange peel and sweet almond paste. The wine is thick and extra creamy in texture, especially in this warm vintage that resulted in more concentrated fruit. The grapes undergo three hours of so-called mash time before gentle pressing. The wine is fermented in oak and aged in barrel for 11 months. The alcohol content is a low 10.5%. A precious few 2,500 bottles were produced.

Packaged in a 375-milliliter bottle, the 2016 Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Passito Juvelo is a powerful dessert wine, but it also shows a delicate side that comes through loud and clear. The bouquet exhibits luscious honey, candied almond, dried apricot and fragrant jasmine. The mouthfeel is rich, smooth and super silky. This dessert wine is fermented and aged (for 11 months) in barrique. Only 1,900 bottles will be released.
