The 2012 Colors Blanc is an unoaked blend of 75% Macabeo and 25% Chardonnay aged in inox in contact with the lees for six months. The nose is quite fruit-driven with aromas of yellow plum and red apples with some yeasty, smoky tones and a fresh palate with clean, pungent, delineated flavors, quite intense and balanced with a pleasant bitter finish. Drink now-2016. Cervoles shares ownership with Castell del Remei also in Costers del Segre, but this is a much younger enterprise, created in 1997 and with an average production of 110,000 bottles.
