The Podere Conca 2019 Bolgheri Rosso Agapanto is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 15% Ciliegiolo. The wine is fermented in cement and aged in second and third-hand barrique and tonneaux. This softer oak regime allows for bright primary intensity with dark cherry, plum and light spice. With 18,000 bottles released, the wine is born in a three-hectare vineyard site with a mix of soils, including sand, stone and iron-rich clay, at a breezy 50 to 100 meters in elevation
